Apple Watch LTE with Business Account.

I have a personal ATT account for my wife and child. I have a business ATT account for my phone. It doesn't look like I can connect and buy an Apple Watch LTE because I have a business account. Seems like a big miss for business customers. You have to connect to a phone on your personal account. I don't have access to my business account so it doesn't look like I'll have luck there, unless someone knows something I don't

"It neither requires nor supports a separate cellular service plan." I understand this.

My problem:

I have ATT for my wife and son

I have ATT for my business account.

I don't see or have access to my business account.

I want a watch connected to my phone (Business Account)

This isn't possible because it is a business account. I assume this is the case for thousands of other individuals. Thus, a problem that I was wondering if there was a work-around. I believe Android has a work-around.

You do realize that the watch has to pair with the phone in question, then it copies the SIM information from the phone, and the cellular account has to support the watch, and there is a charge. Since the business phone account is not owned by you, nor do you have the option to make changes to it, then there is no way for Apple to activate it. Again, this is a carrier issue, and you would need to take it up with them. If you have a personal account, then you can always pair your watch to your personal phone if you have one.

Same problem here.

I own the business and these are my phones. I am sure it is just a call to Verizon Business department, just frustrating that I have to wait until Monday.

The biggest problem I am seeing, is when the Watch App is asking me to log into my Verizon account, it assumes it is my cell number and I cannot edit with my actual account.

I will post info after I talk to Verizon on Monday.

I had this problem and my company administrator solved it. I now have my Apple Watch series 3 with LTE connected to my company-managed account using NumberSync. It's non-obvious and involved a phone call. In the end I had to use the Watch app and register a new account with my phone number. It just sort of activated after that.

Hope that helps.

With those that are figuring out how to do this, what actually happens on the Watch? Admin supposedly has added Watch info to account, but when I select "Set up Cellular" in Watch App, it still jumps to the myAT&T login, which I cannot use. Trying to figure out if this is a timing thing or what the trick is to get past this step.
